He was nervous.
She was moved.
I learned a lot from it.
It occurred to / struck sb. that...
It dawned on sb. that...
It suddenly occurred to me that I had mistaken my father’s silence for indifference.
It struck her that the old man’s strictness was another form of protection.
It dawned on Tom that real courage was not the absence of fear, but the choice to move forward despite it.
It dawned on me that I should work hard.
Feeling + 情绪形容词, sb. did sth.
Feeling ashamed, Jack lowered his head and avoided his mother’s eyes.
Jack
Exhausted but relieved, she leaned against the door and let out a long breath.
Nervous and excited, Lily stepped onto the stage, her fingers trembling slightly.
Lily
它比单独写 She was nervous.
Sb. was so + 情绪形容词 + that...
So + 情绪形容词 + was sb. that...
She was so frightened that she felt as if her feet had been fixed to the ground.
He was so moved that words failed him for a moment.
So disappointed was Mark that the light in his eyes slowly disappeared.
Mark
To one’s relief / surprise / disappointment / regret / joy, ...
To her great relief, the missing child was found sleeping safely under a tree.

To my deep regret, I never had the chance to say thank you before she left.
Out of + 情绪名词, sb. did sth.
Out of guilt, he returned to the classroom and placed the broken model back on the desk.

Out of anger, he almost shouted back, but he swallowed the words at the last second.
Sb. did sth., with + 情绪名词 / 身体反应 + doing...
She hugged her grandmother tightly, with warmth flooding her heart.
He walked toward the classroom, with his heart beating wildly in his chest.
The boy accepted the gift, with gratitude shining in his eyes.
She hugged her mother. She felt warm.
She hugged her mother tightly, with warmth flooding her heart.
Sb. was overwhelmed with/by + 情绪名词.
Sb. was seized by + 情绪名词.
Sb. was flooded with + 情绪名词.
She was overwhelmed with relief when she heard her brother was safe.

The old man was flooded with gratitude when the children helped him carry the heavy bags.
..., his palms sweating.
..., tears rolling down her cheeks.
..., her voice trembling.
A wave / surge / sense of + 情绪名词 + welled up in one’s heart.
A wave of courage welled up in her heart, and she finally raised her hand.
He felt a strong sense of guilt rising inside as he saw the tears in her eyes.
A quiet sense of hope began to well up in Lily’s heart as the first light appeared.
One’s heart pounded / sank / skipped a beat.
One’s hands trembled / palms grew sweaty / throat went dry.
Her heart skipped a beat when she saw the familiar handwriting on the envelope.
His palms grew sweaty as he waited for the teacher to announce the result.
Her throat went dry, and the apology she had prepared suddenly disappeared.
Fear / anger / disappointment gave way to relief / courage / hope.
Sb.’s fear was replaced by...
What began as... turned into...
Her fear slowly gave way to courage as she looked into her father’s encouraging eyes.
His anger was gradually replaced by guilt when he realized how much he had hurt her.
What began as disappointment turned into determination when he remembered his promise.
She was sad.
要写:
Her fingers trembled over the letter, and tears blurred the words she could no longer read.
He was nervous.
要写:
His palms grew damp, and the ticking clock seemed louder with every passing second.
I was moved.
要写:
Warmth spread through my chest as I realized someone had been quietly standing by my side.
